Carraig Creatives – Celebrating & Promoting Artists & Makers in the Carrick Area

Carraig Creatives is a collective platform celebrating the artists, makers, and creative practitioners of the Carrick area. It exists to showcase local talent, connect creatives with audiences, and strengthen the cultural life of the community through visibility, collaboration, and shared opportunity. From traditional crafts to contemporary art, Carraig Creatives supports those who make, create, and experiment—helping their work be seen, valued, and sustained within & beyond the place it comes from.

“Carraig is an Irish and Scottish Gaelic word for Carrick which means “rock,” “cliff,” or “boulder” but also refers to a historic district and geographic region in the South West of Scotland. It is the southernmost of the three traditional districts of Ayrshire (alongside Cunningham and Kyle), bounded by the River Doon to the north and the Galloway Hills to the south.”
