About Carraig Creatives

Carraig Creatives is a voluntary, not-for-profit constituted group that exists to support and promote local artists and makers by increasing access to opportunities, visibility, skills-sharing, and professional development, for the benefit of the wider Carrick community. We aim to create a supportive, inclusive network that champions creativity in all its forms, from established practitioners to emerging talent. By connecting artists with audiences, venues, events, and resources, Carraig Creatives helps local creativity to be seen, valued, and sustained.

We actively encourage collaboration, learning, and the exchange of ideas, providing pathways for artists and makers to develop their practice, build confidence, and explore new opportunities. At the same time, we seek to enrich the cultural life of Carrick by celebrating local talent, strengthening community connections, and contributing to the area’s social and economic vitality. Through promotion, partnership, and shared purpose, Carraig Creatives works to ensure that creativity remains a visible, accessible, and valued part of life in Carrick.
