I have been drawing ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil but it was only when my mum recorded Alwyn Crawshaw’s watercolour painting tv programmne that I began to take it seriously.   Over the years I have attended a variety of classes and progressed to being on the teaching side of the classes.   I enjoy seeing everyone starting to believe in their ability to paint and to see what work they produce.

I will tackle most subjects to paint, in different types of media, but my favourite subjects are portraits – both pets and people !

As well as painting I also dabble in other crafts, such as photography, jewellery and knitting.
