Based in the vibrant landscapes of South Ayrshire, Sally is an artist who rediscovered a love for creativity after years dedicated to social work. Her journey began with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art in 1995, but it was in 2008—through the lens of a camera—that her artistic spark was reignited. Photography opened new doors, leading her to join the Leeds Photographic Society and take part in competitions and group exhibitions.

Since settling in Scotland two years ago, she channelled her passion into building a local photography group, where they meet weekly and share their work at community venues. Alongside photography, she enjoys crafting and creating art on wood, canvas, and paper—always exploring the joyful possibilities of colour. Whether through a photograph or a painting, Sally’s aim is to create uplifting pieces that bring a sense of happiness and vibrancy into any home.
